DESIGN FOR A GAS-BURNER.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 30,668, dated May 2, 1899.

To all whom may concern:

Be it known that I, HENRY F. GABEL, of Pittsburg, in ihe county of Allegheny and State of Pennsylvania, have invented a new and original Design for Gasdiurners, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact description, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part of this specification, in whiel1- Figu re 1 is a side elevation of a gas-burner embodying my new design. Fig. 2 is a crossseetion on the line X X of Fig. 1 looking downwardly. Fig. 3 is a View similar to Fig. 3 looking upwardly.

The leading feature of my design consists in a gas-burner having a globular chamber at its lower end, a hollow stein leading upward] y therefrom and having an enlargement at its upper end with side slots and a conical shield or top covering the slotted enlargement.

In the drawings, 2 represents the body of the burner, having at its lower end a bulbshaped chamber 3 and in its upper end an enlarged bnrner-ohamber, with side slots for the exit of the mixed air and gas, the burnerchamber being covered by a eone shaped top 5.
