SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 30,581, dated April 18, 1899.
Application filed March 14,1899. Serial No. 709,091. Term of patent 14 years.

13e it known that I, JosIAH FAHRNEY, a eitizen of the United States, residing at lVaynesborough, in the county of Franklin and State of Pennsylvania, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Straw-Rack for Grain-Separators; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, Clear, and exaet description of the invention, suoli as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same.
In the drawings, Figure] is a side View ol' the strmwraek. Fig. 2 is a plan View of the straw-rack.
As shown in the drawings, the leading or material feature of the design consists in a straw-rack provided with a series of hars waved or corrugated upon curved lines in the direction of their length and having narrow spaces or openings between them.
A are the bars, which are waved or eorru gated upon curved lines in the direetion of their length. The waves or eorrugaiions eenM sist of convex upper paris I and eoneave lower parts c, arranged alternately in the same vertical plane, and the convex parts I are olgreater radins than the concave parts f.
Dare cross-pieces which hold the bars A in position, so that narrow parallel spaces or openings d are maintained bei ween the hars.
E is a concave-convex projection extending lengthwise along the upper surface of each bar A and stifl'ening it.
