ALLEN G. N. VERMILYA, OF NEW YORK, N. Y., ASSIGNOR TO THE CARY lllANUFAClURING COMPANY, OF SAME PLACE.
DESIGN FOR A REEL-FRAME.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 30,063, dated January 24, 1899.
Application filed September 12, 1898. Serial No. 690,809- Term of patent 14 years- To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, ALLEN G. N. VER- MILYA, a citizen of the United States, and a resident of New York, in the county of New York and State of New York, have invented and produced a certain new and original Design for a Reel-Frame, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part of the same, in which- Figure 1 is a perspective view of my newlydesigncd reel-frame, and Fig. 2 is a side elevation of the same.
The frame which I have designed consists, primarily, of two armsfand f, joined one to the other at or near the ends and extending parallel one with the other, but separated one from the other by a short space for the greater part of theirlengths. At or near one end, the two arms having been brought together, an extension is carried on beyond the line of the junction, and in such extension there is an aperture. I have marked it 7L2. About midway between the ends, or rather between the places where the arms are brought together, are axle-holes h h.
The main features of the design are the two parallel connected arins extending parallel, but separated for most of their lengths, brought together at or near the ends, and provided with an apertu red extension projecting beyond the point of junction and with axle holes between the two places of j unetion, substantially as set forth.
What I claim as my invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
The design for a reel-frame substantially as shown and described.
Signed at New York, in the countyof New York and State of New York.
ALLEN G. N. VERMILYA.
