SPECIFICATION forming part of Design NO. 30,009, dated January 17, 1899. Application filed December 12, 1898. Serial No. 699,088. Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that 1, WILLIAM F. FALLS, a citizen of the United States, residing at Buston, in the county of Suffolk and State of Massachusetts, have invented and produced a new and useful Design for a Ladys Work- Staud, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact descri tion.
Referring to t e drawing forming part of this specification, the figure is a perspective View of the work-stand embodying my new deslgn.
The essential feature of my design comprises the vertical post or rod rising from a base and having a series of disks or holders carried thereby at various points thereof.
The reference character 2 indicates the post or rod, rising trom the base 1. At about one-third of the eight 0! the post 2 is the basket or receptacle 3, said post passing through the axial center of said receptacle. At about two-thirds of the height of the post 2 is a disk 4, having projecting vertically from its upper surface the pins 5, the post passing through the center of said disk. At the upper extremity of the post 2 is a rounded head 8, formed of fabric and stufied to retain its shape. About midway between said disk 4 and head 8 is a second disk 6, somewhat smaller than the former and having rounded projections 7 upon its upper surface.
Made i n accordance with this design a ladys work-stand is given a light and dainty efiect and is an attractive and salable article.
Having described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is
The design for a lady's work-stand, as herein shown and described.
In testimony that I claim the foregoing invention I have hereunto set my hand this 30th day of November, 1898.
