DESIGN FOR A SPROCKET-WHEEL.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 29,524, dated October 18, 1898.
Application filed July 30,1898. Serial NO- 687,363- Term of patent 7 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, PETER FORG, a citizen of the United States, residing in Somerville, in the county of Middlesex and State of Massachusetts, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Sprocket-Wheels, of
which the following description, in connection with the accompanying drawings, is a specification, like letters on the drawings representing like parts.
The design relates to a sprocket-wheel for bicycles; and it consists in a sprocket-wheel distinguished by its peculiar shape, as Will be hereinafter set forth and claimed.
Figure 1 is a front elevation of a sprocket- Wheel embodying this design; and Fig. 2, a section on the line 2 2, Fig. 1.
The leading and distinguishing feature of my design, as shown in the drawings, consists of a large central star a, having its points connected together by a circular ring I), from which project outwardly smaller stars 0 and bars (1, representing stripes, which are united by a larger concentric ring e, from which project-outwardly the teeth f.
This designis embodied in a sprocket wheel in which the points of the large central star at are united to the ring 19 by curved bars g.
I claim The design for a sprocket-wheel herein shown and described.
