DESIGN FOR A GLASS VESSEL.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 28,180, dated January 18, 1898.
Application filed November 12, 1897. Serial No. 658,345. Term of patent 3% years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, AUGUSTUS II. HEISEY, a resident of Idlewood, in the county of Allegheny and State of Pennsylvania, have invented a new and original Design for Glass Vessels; and I do hereby declare the following to bee full, clear, and exact description thereof.
My invention relates to designs for vessels formed of glass.
In the accompanying drawing I have illustrated by perspective view a glass vessel embodying my invention.
The letter a designates the base of a glass vessel, and above said base is the notched ring a. Above the notched ring a is the bulbous portion b, projecting out beyond the base. At the upper end of the bulbous portion Z) is the notched ring 0. lxtending up from the notched ring 0' is the inwardlycurved portion 0, which forms the neck of the vessel, said inwardly-curved portion extending out to form the outwardly-flaring mouth d. On the upper edge of this vessel are the beads e, which extend around a portion of the open end of the vessel.
The letter frepresents the handle of the vessel.
What I claim is The design for a glass vessel as herein shown and described.
