DESIGN FOR- A BICYCLE-STAND.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 27,769, dated October 19, 1897.
Application filed July 6, 1897. Serial No. 643,663. Term of' patent 7 years.

Be it known that I, WILLIAM K. PINE, a citizen of the United States, residing at Lockport, in the county of Niagara and State ot' New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Bicycle-Stands, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof.
This design relates to the configuration of a bicycle-stand, the accompanying drawing being a perspective view of a bicycle-stand embodying my design.
The distinctive feature of my design consists in the peculiar shape of the upright or holding portion of the stand.
Referring to the drawing, A represents the base-frame, consisting of four bars a, four supporting-feet b at the corners thereof, and two pedestals c, arranged cent1-ally on two opposite bars a.
The frame of the upright or sn pportin g portion of the stand consists of two standards D D, which risc from the pedcstals, an upper horizontal cross-bar (l, connected at its ends by curved portions d.' with the upper ends of the standards, and a lower horizontal crossbar (Z2, connected at its ends with the lower portions of the standards by rosettes d3.
E represents the supporting loops or racks, each oi' which consists of a pair of vertical rods e e, the upper and lower ends of which curve toward each other, as shown at e', and a rosette e2, connecting the opposing curved portions of the rods at each end of the loop with the adjacent cross-bar.
I claim as my invention- The design for a bicycle-stand, substantially as herein shown and described.
