DESIGN FOR A BlCYCLE-STAND.
SPECIFICATION formng part of Design No. 27,770, dal-,ed October 19, 1897.
Application filed July 19. 1897. Serial No. 645,179- Term of patent 7 years.

Be it known that I,\VILLIAM K. FINE, a citizen of the United States, resiiling :tt Lockport, in the county of Niagara and State of New York, have invented and prod need :t new mnl original Design for lieycle-Stanils, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the aeeonipainying draiwing, forniing a part thereof.
This design relates to the configuration of a. bieyele-stand, the aceompftnying (lrztwing being a perspeetive view of :t bicycle-stand embodying niy design.
The distinetive feature of my design consists in the peeuliar Shape of the npright or holding portion of the stand.
Referrin g to the (lrawing, A represents the base-frame, eonsisting of four bars (o, four snpporting-feet b nt the Corners thereof, and two pedestals c, arranged centrally on two opposite bars a.
The upright or snpporting portion of the stan d consists of a 11 umber of upright bm's E, which ;tre arranged in pnirs, :in npwardly- Curved portion e, eonneeting the upper ends of eaeh pair of bzu's, and (lownwzu'illy-eurved portions e', eonneeting the lower ends of the mijacent bars of the several pairs, forming a series of snpporting loops or raeks.
The lower eonneeting-loops e' inny extend to the intermediate cross-bzu' (Z, and the onter bnrs of the ontermost loops are monnted with their lower ends on the pedestnls.
