The end frames of the stand are each composed of upright side bars A, an upper crossbar A, connecting the upper ends of the side bars, a lower crossbar Aicon n ecti n g the lower portions of the side bars, and curved legs A extending laterally 0r outwardly beyond the side bars and forming with the latter a compound or ogec curve, as shown in Fig. 1. The legs terminate in ornamental feet a. The side bars are curved outwardly at their upper ends, as shown at a, and the side bars, the upper and lower crossbars A A'-, and the legs A are relieved by raised marginal ribs or flanges, as shown in Fig. l. The lower cross-bar A has in its middle an opening It", and the bar has acurvcd swell or bulge a on the upper and lower sides of this opening.

In each of the four triangular spaces located in the corners of the side frame is an irregularly-shaped opening I, the outer side of which is concentric with the adjacent concave end of the frame, forming at each end of the frame a segmental or inwardly-curved bar B The side frame, its circular opening 13 and the corner openings 1) are bounded by raised marginal ribs or flanges, as shown. Between each pair of triangularopenings on the same side of the central opening are webs N, in each of which is an opening b, and in each of the spaces between the large central opening and the irregular openings 1) is a circular opening The top or bed-plate is oblong in form and composed of,side bars 0 and end bars (3'. The plate is rounded at the corners and at its lower edge is a rectangular inwardly-extending flange (2. On each side bar C is a laterallyprojecting wing c, which extends nearly to the ends of the top plate, and in each of these wings is a longitudinal slot 0 Projecting from the corners of the top plate are ears and in each corner of the inwardly-extending flange is located a pair of diagon all y-arranged openings 0. 7o
