SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 27,709, dated September 28, 1897. Application filed June 12, 1897. Serial No. 640,585l Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that l, JASPER C. DEAL, a citi' zen of the United States, residing at Sam, in the county of Bulloch and State of Georgia, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Cabinets, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, showing a part thereof.
In said drawing the figure thereof repre sents a perspective view of my design.
The leading feature of my design consists in a rectangular base,provided with a series of drawers havingornamented handles attached to them and a closet at one end thereof. This rectangular port-ion is supported on ornamental legs and has a molded top extending over the body thereof. Above the rectangular portion is an upright portion, the lower part of which is prismoidal in shape, and this lower part is provided with a series of compartments having a common door. per part is rectangular in shape and is provided with a series of compartments extend- The uping length ise therein, which have a door opening upward at the bottom thereof. A similar compartment is provided to one side of these and is divided into a number of smaller compartments by a partition. One l of the first-mentioned compartments is provided with a series of circular openings thereinto, which openings are provided with orna mental stoppers.
It is apparent that this design maybe ornamented in any desired way-as, for instance,
l the front and doors may be carved or inlaid.
