Be it known that I, ELEMIR J. NEY, of Lowell, in thek c'oun-tyofV Middlesex,V andStnte of Ma.ss: 1chusetts, have originated and designed a new Pattern for Carpets or other fabrics, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact description, reference being had to the accompanying drwings,'ma.king.pa.rt lof this specification.

A A are two parts of two bands running throilgh the design,partly perpendicular and partly at right angle. B B are blocks, connecting bands A A. C is a. six-cornered set figure, ohlongin shape. D D D D D are halves; when matched will form figures like C.

The colorsemployed for the different portions of the design may be varied to suit the taste and wish of the manufacturer?v I I C'laz'm. What I claim as my invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, .is- The design or pattern for carpets or other fabrics herein set forth.
