TO ALL WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:

Be it known that I, ELEMIR J. NEY, of Lowell, in the county of Middlesex, and State of Massachusetts, have originated and designed a new Pattern for Carpets or other fabrics, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact description, reference being bad to the accompanying drawings, making part of this specification.

A A are two irregular-shaped figures, as shown in the drawings, resting on ground of veins and mottled work.

B B are two frames, the form of which represents an eight-pointed star.

C C are two halves. When matched, willform a figure similar to A B.

The colors employed for the different portions of the design may be varied to suit the taste and wish of the manufacturer.

Claim. What I claim as my invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is

The design or pattern for carpets or other fabrics herein set forth and shown.
