Be it known that I, ELEMIB. J. NEY, of Lowell, in the county of Middlesex, and State of Massachusetts, have originated and designed a. new Pattern for Carpets or other fabrics, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact description, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, making part of this specification.

This design is a combination of flowers, leaves, scrolls, and sprig-work, so composed that they form distinct centres, as shown in the drawing.

The colors employed for the different portions of the design may be varied to suit the taste and wish of the manufacturer.

Claim. What I claim as my invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is- The design or pattern for carpets or other fabrics herein set forth and shown.
