Be it known that I, ELEMIR J. NEY, of Lo'well, in the countyof Middlesex, and State of Massachusetts, have originated and designed a new Pattern for Carpets or other fabrics, cf which the followingis a full, clear, and exact description, reference being had to the accompanying drawings,tnaking part of this specification.

This design is composed of leaves and sprig-work, as shown in the drawing. I

The colors employed for the different portions of the design may be varied to snit the taste and wish of the manufacturer. i claim.
