DIE-115- DESIGN.
H.Ih PIPER. WALL SUPPORT FOR BIGYGLBS.
Nb.27,439. Patented July 27,1897
UNITED STATES PATENT OEEIcE.
IIIRAM L. PIPER, OF TORONTO, CANADA.
DESIGN FOR A WALL-SUPPORT FOR BICYCLES.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 27,439, dated July 27, 1897.
Application filerl May 5, 1897. Serial No. 635,268. Term of patent 7 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, IIIRAM LUCAS PIPER, a subject of the Queen of Great Britain, residing at the city of Toronto, in the county of York and Province of Ontario, Canada, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Wall-Support for Bicycles, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof.
The figure is a perspective view of the support, showing my design.
As shown in the drawing, the support is formed of a continuous piece of wire A, bent at each end to form loops B to receive screws for the attachment of the support to the wall. The portions (J of the wire immediately c011- tiguous to the loops extend outwardly in the same plane, but soas to gradually approach one another. The central loop D of the wire is bent around to form a hook.
E is a Hat metal plate connecting the portions C of the wire, as shown.
From the above description it will be seen that 1 have devised a bicycle wall-support of novel and readily-distinguishable configura tion, the chief novel ty consisting in the peculiar shape into which the wire is bent to form the loop and the ilat metal plate connecting the converging portions of the support.
Having described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
The design for a bicycle-support, substantially as herein shown and described.
Toronto, May 1, 1897.
IIIRAM L. PIPER.
