DESIGN FOR A BADGE-PIN.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 27,420, dated July 27, 1897.
Application filed March 17,1897. Serial No. 623,052. Term of patent 7 years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, GEORGE E. DARLING, a citizen of the United States, residing at Providenee,in the State of Rhode Island, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Badge-Pin, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part thereof.
In the accompanying drawings, Figure 1 represents the front View of a badge-pin embodying my improved design. Fig. 2 repre sents an edge view of the same.
The leading feature of my design consists in the raised and perforated representation of a bicycle-Wheel surmounted by the upper portion of a shield.
In the drawings, A represents the upper portion of a shield, and l the bicycle-wheel, having the spokes C O,with open spaces D D between them. I have also shown the wings E E E arranged in triangular form within the rim of the wheel. The shield A is provided with the field of stars a, the panel I), which may contain any suitable letters and words, the contrasting bars 0 c, and the sprigs of leaves d d at opposite edges of the shield.
\Vhat I claim is The design for a badge-pin, herein shown and described.
