DESIGN FOR A PRISM-PLATE.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 27,346, dated July 13, 1897.

Application filed June 15, 1897. Serial No. 640,936. Term of patent 14 years.

To all whom it may concern.-

Beit known that I, JOHN M. EWEN, acitizen of the United States, residing at Chicago, in the county of Cook and State of Illinois, have invented andprodueed a new and original Ornamental Design for Prism-Plates, of which the following is a specification.

My invention relates to a design fora prisinplate, and is illustrated in the accompanying drawing, wherein is shown an elevation of a prism-plate containing my design.

The prism-lights are provided each with a series of prisms B 13, and each of the central lights (1 O is hexagon-shaped. The side, top, and bottom sections are pieces derived from cutting up the hexagons and are shaped as shown. These several prism-lights are arranged together in a plate by means of the zigzag-shaped opaque frame-pieces E and the short cross-pieces F.

The essential features of my design are found in a prism-plate consisting of a series of hexagon-shaped prism-lights and pieces out from such hexagon-shaped lights and shaped as shown, having each on one side a series of prisms, and a frame composed of zigzag and short pieces, as shown.

I claim The design for a prismflute substantially as shown and described.
