NELSON ll. RAYMOND, OF BUFFALO, NENV YORK, ASSIGNOR OF ONE-HALF TO CHARLES M. IROGTOR, OF SAME PLACE.
DESIGN FOR A FRAME FOR ELECTRIC BELLS.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 26,796, dated March 23, 1897.
Application filed February 6, 1897. Serial No. 622,363- Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom, it n'mq (urn/earn:
Be it known that I, NELSON II. RAYMOND,
a citizen of the United States, residing in Buf falo, in the county of Erie and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Electric-Bell Frames, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part thereof.
My design relates to the configuration of the frames which support the operating in echanism of electric bells, and is represented in the accompanying drawings, which form a part of this specification, and in which Figure 1 is a front elevation, and Fig. 2 a side elevation, respectively, of an electricbell frame embodying my design.
Like letters of reference refer to like parts in both figures.
The leading feature of my design consists of the rounded upper ears or corners, the rounded lower ears or corners arranged closer together than the upper ears, the inwardlycurved bars extending from the upper to the 2 5 lower ears, the central ear arranged below the lower ears, the inwardly-curved bars eX- tending from the central earto the lower ears, the longitudinal neck arranged centrally above the upper ears, and the inwardly- 0 curved bars extending from the neck to the upper ears, all arranged symmetrically on the opposite side of the center line of the bellframe.
AA represent the two upper rounded ears or corners of the frame, and B B the lower rounded ears or corners thereof. The upper ears are arranged transversely in line and equidistant on opposite sides of the center line of the frame and the lower ears are similarly'arranged, but closer together, than the 40 upper cars, which produces a downwardly tapering or contracted appearance of the frame. From each upper ear to the lower ear on the same side of the frame extends an inwardly-curved bar or member 0, the bars on both sides being symmetrical, with the exception that one of them has a longitudinal rib c on its front side.
D represents an ear arranged centrally and below the lower ears, and d d two inwardly- 5o curved symmetrical bars or members extend ing from the lower ears to the central ear.
F represents a longitudinal neck arranged centrally above the upper ears and terminating at its upper end in a post f.
g g are two inwardlyeurved symmetrical bars or members extending from the lower end of the neck to the upper cars.
What I claim is The design for the frame of an electric bell, 60 substantially as herein shown and described.
WVitness my hand this 18th day of January, 1896.
NELSON H. RAYMOND.
