SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 26,003, dated. September 8, 1896 Application filed June 29,1896 Serial No 597,472. Term of patent 14 years lle it known that I EDWARD l\'r-\Yt 1,aeiti zen of the l'nited States, residing at Monaea, in the county of liea\ er and Htateot' Pennsylvania, haveinronted and produeed a new and original Design for a Shade for an Incandeseeut Gas liighti, of which the following, taken in connection with the aeeompunying' drawings, is a speeifieation.
Figure 1 is an elevational view of a shade of my design, and Fig. 2 is a sectional \'l( of the same, and these two figures are deemed neeessaryt'or properly illustrating my design.
My design tor a shade will he hest understood by ret'erenee to the accompanying drawings.
The leading or essential feature of my design may he said to he a shade shaped like the middle part of an egg as shown in the drawings, and havingtransparent eonoidal proje(' tions (1, displayed upon a translucent ground I), and having at the top thereof tlutes r and seallops (I. As shown in the drawings, the Colloidal projections areof different sizes, and are arranged more or less irregularly as shown.
