Be itrknown that I, GEORGE JONES, of Saugertics, in [he county of' Ulster, nml State of New York, have invented a new Design for Coffee :ind Tea-Pot Tops; and I do hereby rleclztre the following, when taken in connection with the accompanying drawings, and the letters of reference marked thereon, to be a full, clear` and exact description of the same, and which said drawings constitute part of this specification, and represent. in

Figure 1, a. side view; and in Figure 2 the top detached from the cover.

This invention relates to a design for the top (ats it is commonly called) ol' tea or colTcc-pots, but may be better distinguished in this description by calling it the ornament upon the cover.

The design consists in n, hall or sphere, A, mounted upon n cavetto base, B, formed with a fillet between the base and the sphere; also a fillet which forms :i shoulder upon the cover, :1s seen in the drawings, which said base is secured t-o the cover C; and I claim as my invention- The design herein illustrated and described for the top or ornament for tea or col`ee-pot covers.
