T0 UJ whom it may concern:
Beit known that I, ROBERT F. DOHERTY, of Yonkers, county of Vestchester, State of New York, llave invented and produced a certain new and original Design for Carpets, fully described and represented in the following specification and the accompanying drawing, forming a part of the same.
The design is intended to be worked into or upon carpets or similar fabrics in such colors as may be desired; and Ido hereby declare that the drawing accompanying this specification conveys to any one skilled in the art of carpet weaving and manufacture a clear understanding of the same and is sufcient to enable such person to use my in- Vention.
The characteristic features of the design are the prominent ornamental ower and leaf heads A on the ground B, with the interposed scrolls formed by branching stem and leaf gures.
