DESIGN.
D. STEWART. UAKEORGRAOKER Nb.24,441. Patented.Ju1y 2,1895.
FIGJ.
' UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE.
DAVID STEWART, OF PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA.
DESIGN FOR A CAKE OR CRACKER.
SPECIFICATION forming part Of Design No. 24,441, dated July 2, 1895. A lication filed May 14, 1895. Serial No. 549,323. Term of patent 7 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, DAVID STEWART, a citizen of the United States, residing in the city and county of Philadelphia, in the State of Pennsylvania, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Cakes and Crackers, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, illustrative of the same.
My design is embodied in the cake or cracker represented in topplan view in Figure 1, and in central longitudinal section in Fig. 2, of the accompanying drawings, and depicted therein as possessing in general plan an. outline approximately triangular, but with rounded corners, and having upon its face a curved line of approximately the same radius as and existing in approximately the same cylindric plane with the rounded outline of the adjacent cornor, with the result that the outline of the corner of the cake or cracker and the said curved line together bound and define a circular field on the face of the article. A series of straight lines of varying lengths are shown as extending partly across that portion of the face of the cake or cracker exterior to the said circular field, said lines being radial with respect to said field. A series of irregular broken curved lines are produced upon that portion of the face of the article which is exterior to said circular field. The said series of straight lines and curved broken lines may, however, be at will omitted.
What I claim is The design fora cake or cracker, substantially as herein shown and described.
In testimony whereof I have hereunto signed my name this 9th day of May, A. D. 1895.
J. BONSALL TAYLOR, F. NORMAN DIXON.
