PAPER COLLAR.

Specification forming part of Design No, 2,344, dated July 3, ISLS.

To aZZ whom it may concern:

Beit known that I, B. G. BRIGGS, of the city and county of Providence, State of Rhode Island, have invented a. new and ornamental Design for Paper Collars; and I do hereby de- Clare that the following is afull, clear, and exact description thereof, which will enable others skilled in the art to make and use the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part of this specification.

The drawing represents an elevation of this invention.

This invention consists in ornamenting a paper collar by a series of bars placed close together with square ends at the bottom and rounded at the top, in combination with a ridge and seam extending over the series of bars in such a. manner as to produce a collar of novel and ornamental appearance.

A represents a collar, which is ornameuted by a series of upright bars, a, placed close together and provided with square ends at the bot-tom, but rounded ou top, as shown. Over the bars and at a certain distance from their rounded ends extends a ridge, b, representing aseam, and by the whole combination an ornament for a collar is obtained, which gives to said collar a novel and elegant appearance.

What I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-

The design for paper collars, as shown and described.
