DESIGN FOR WALL-PAPER.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 22,960, dated December 12, 1893.
Application filed November 6, 1893. Serial No. 490,212. Term of patent 3% years. RegisteredinEnglaudMarch 3.1893, No. 208,516.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, FREDERIC AUMONIER, (trading as WM, WooLLAMs & Co.,) a subject of the Queen of Great Britain,and a resident 5 of 110 High Street, near Manchester Square, London, England, have invented a new and original Design for Wall-Paper, (registered in Great Britain March 3, 1893, No. 208,516,) of which the following is a specification.
Io The design for wall paper as shown by the accompanying drawing consists of imitations of lace work and conventional flowers and devices. The lace work like portions are arranged together to form designs somewhat like I5 the letter X, the ends being connected by conventional devices and flowers so as to give the paper the appearance of diamond shaped patterns. The lace like devices have one side with an ornamental border the other border zo being scalloped ornamentally.
The device for connecting the X like lace portions together to form the apparent diamond pattern consists of a fan like lace portion resting on the side bottom of the X like lace and depending from it is a lace like z5 scrolled device having flowers and leaves arranged in borders set plume like and from the base of the scrolled device hangs conventional ilowers. The spaces between the X like lace which are arranged one above the other 3o at a distance away contain a device of scrolled work from which depends a spray ot' conventional flowers.
