DESIGN FOR WALL-PAPER.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 22,956, dated December 5, 1893.
Application filed October 20, 1893. Serial No. 488,750. Term of patent 3% years. Registered in England December 21, 1892, No. 20%615.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, FREDERIC AUMONIER, (trading as M. WOOLLAMS & Co.,) a subject of the Queen of Great Britain, and a resident of 110 High Street, near Manchester Square, London, England, have invented a new and original Design for VVall-Paper, (registered in Great Britain on the 21st day of December, 1892, No. 204,615,) of which the following is a specification.
The design for wall paper as represented by the accompanyingdrawing consists of two prominent devices at difierent levels, the interveuing spaces being filled with vertical sprays terminating in a primula like flower. One of these prominent devices has a scroll like border of oval form centrally divided by flowers. The upper part of this oval is surmounted by sprayed out leaves forming in conjunction with other sprays a base for a couple of hell like flowers above which are other smaller bell like flowers springing from stalks. These in conjunction with drooping leaves form part of the internal portion of said device this being completed by a kind of leaf edged alcove containing a. bunch of three flowers merging from two spread out oak shaped leaves. The outer portion and the inner portion of this device are connected by daisy like heads as a kind of chain. The other device is of pentagon form of scroll border having an inner border of about corresponding shape formed of leaves and containing a bunch of three flowers merging from a conplet of oak leaves within which is a heartshaped skeleton with double oak leaves below. The upper part of this device has two flowers and is surmounted by a bundle of leaves above which on either side are a bell shaped flower and a reflexed leaved flower surmounted by spread out oak leaves forming the base for a repetition of the same device above it. The devices are grouped in alternate order diagonally with each other.
