To 6055 whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, GEORGE L. FREDERICK, a citizen of the United States, residing at Ebensburg, in the countyof Cambria and State of Pennsylvania, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Combined Buckle and Snapd look, of which the following is a specification.
Reference is to be had to the accompanying drawings forming a part of this specification, in which similar letters of reference indicate corresponding parts in both the figures.
Figure l is a perspective view of a combined buckle and snap hook embodying my new design and Fig. 2 is a similar View showing the reverse side.
The leading feature of my design consists in the buckle A, the same presenting substantially a rectangular figure, the lines of the buckle being, longitudinally, in the form of a compound curve, the lines of the cross bar of the buckle lying out of the plane of the longitudinally curved body, the lines of the cross bar further being joined to those of the body by the bracket-like figures a, and the lines of the tongue at ranging at an incline from the cross bar to the front of the buckle. The minor features are the upper and lower surfaces of the body, the upper surface of the sides ranging downward and outward from the inner edges 1), and the lower surface of the sides ranging downward and inward from the outer edges 0. The lines of the snap (I depart from one end of the buckle, about centrally, and are narrowed a short distance from the buckle, as at e; they further form the straight fiat figuref, and the hook-like figure g, the back surface of which figure is beveled from the center h toward the side edges 11.
I claim- The design fora combined buckle and snap hook herein shown and described.
