Application filed December 10, 1892.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, ISAAC BEDICHIMER, a citizen of the United States, residing at the city of Philadelphia, in the county of Philadelphia and State of Pennsylvania, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Badges, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part thereof.
My design for a badge, consists in a heraldie shield, upon the surface of which is an oviform shield having displayed thereon, in rilievo, the lignre of an Indian head, above which is an arch shaped entablature. A ribbon from under the Indian head flows downwardly, in opposite inclines, from each side, terminating at the lower curvatures of the heraldic shield. Between said ribbon ends is an invertedly curved band, in alignment with lower end of the oviform shield. The heraldic shield, ornamented as described, rests upon two banners which are seen at Serial No. 454,785. Term of patent 7 years.
either side thereof. Above the shield is an emblem known as the totem, consisting of the American eagle holding arrows in its claws and having an eseutehcon displayed on its breast. Above the eagle is an ornamental scroll.
The design as set forth and illustrated in the drawing is held suspended by a link to an upper flowing band, having overlying ends, the upper and lower central portion of which band being embellished with scroll ornamentation.
\Vhat I claim is;
The design for a badge, as herein described and illustrated.
In testimony that I claim the design above set forth I atlix my signature in presence of two witnesses.
