DESIGN FOR WALL-PAPER.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 20,218, dated October 21, 1890.

Application filed September 2'7, 1890. Serial No. 366,371. Term of patent 3% years.

To all whom it may concern;

lie it known that I, CHARLES BOOZE, a citizen of the United States, residing at Buffalo, in the county of Erie and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for \Valldaper, of which the following is aspeeitication, reference being had to the accompanying photograph, forming part thereof.

The leading feature of my design consists of disconnected branches of flowers and leaves of the jasmine running lengthwise in graceful curves under and over upright stencil ornaments, the upper portions of which are inclosed in ornamental panels formed by intersecting semicircular lines arranged horizontally above the upright ornaments, as represented in the accompanying photograph. 'lhe semicircular lines form a horizontal scallop above the upright stem-ll ornaments, and

at their points of intersection between the uprigh t ornaments they continue downwardly and their ends are connected by curved lines with the upright stencil ornaments to form the panels which inc-lose the upper portions of the upright ornaments. A narrow horizontal band extendsaeross the top, and two parallel lines are arranged horizontally along the bottom.

My design is more particularly designed for and used as a ceiling decoration or border.
