DESIGN FOR WALL-PAPER.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 24,818, dated October 29, 1895.
Application filed September 27, 1895. Serial No. 563.932. Term of patent 3% years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that 1, CHARLES 8002, a citizen of the United States, residing at Buffalo, in the county of Erie and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for all-Paper, of which the following is a specification,reference being bad to the accompanying drawing, showing a part thereof.
The design consists of a series of vertically arranged ornaments representing an ornamental lamp suspended by a ribbon from two sprays of leaves and an ornamental wreath hanging from the base of the ornamental lamp with an ornament of the Empire style in the center of said wreath, as represented in the accompanying drawing. On each side of said ornaments is arranged a vertical row of small ova1disks,a row of connected loops of ribbon with small ornaments connecting the loops, and a vertical row of small rosette ornaments also form part of the design, as shown in the drawing.
The border of the design is formed of ornaments representing an ornamental lamp suspended from festoons of ribbon with two sprays of leaves diverging right and left from the base of said ornamental lamp, and an ornamental wreath is also suspended from the ribbon festoons on each side of the lampshaped ornaments, as shown in the drawing. A horizontal band formed of two light parallel lines with a row of small oval disks in the center form the bottom of the border.
