DESIGN FOR A HAMMER.
SPECIFICATION frmng part of Design No. 19,689, dated March 4, 1890.
Application filed December 28, 1889. Serial No. 335,282. Term of patent 14 ycnrz.
To all whom, t may concern.-
Be it known that I, CHARLES OTTINGER, a citizen of the United States, residing at Philadelphia, in the county of Philadelphia and State of Pennsylvania, have invented a new and useful Design for Combined Peen and Bush Hammers, of which the following is a specification.
The invention relates to a new and original design for a hammer.
The figure of the drawing is a perspective view of the hammer showing my new design.
The essential feature of this design resides in the peculiar shape of the ends or faces of the hammer.
Referring to4 the drawing, 1 designates a hammer-head, which is approximately rectangular and is provided with a central vertical the other face or end has a series of beveled.

Vhat I claim is The design for a hammer herein shown, the same consisting of therectangnlar head having at one end a face with curved edges and at the other end a. face provided with a series of beveled edges, as set forth. 4
