DESIGN FOR A RUG.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 19,463, dated December 3, 1889.

Application filed November 7, 1889. Serial No. 329,586- Term of patent 3% years.

To all whom it may concern.-

Be it known that I, JULIUS PEGEL, a citizen of the United States, and a resident of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, have invented a new and Improved Design for Rugs, reference being had to the accompanying photographic illustration, making part hereof, in which- A is the ground-Work of the rug, which is an oblong square; B, a middle oblong-square panel; C D E F, fern-leaves and clusters of flowers of fanciful and natural design set in the space around the panel B.

G G are flowers intruding upon the inner space of the panel; II, a spray or line of IS flowers and leaves set diagonally across the inner space of the panel.

What I claim as new is- The design for rugs, as shown.
