DESIGN FOR A BUTTON.
SPECIFICATION forming part Of Design No. 18,505, dated August 7, 1888.
Application filed June 16, 1888. Serial No. 271,3Bl. Term of patent 35 years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, RUDOLPH LIEBMANN, a citizen of the United States, residing at New York, in the county and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Buttons, of which the following is a. specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part thereof.
My invention consists in a new design for buttons, as fully set forth in the following specification and claim and illustrated in the ac companying drawing, which represents a face view of a button containing my said design.
In the drawing, the letter A indicates the button, circular in outline, the face-of which constitutes a. plain field, a, containing the representation of a horseshoe, B, of a color contrasting with the color of the field. A ribbonlike band, 0, extends in a right line entirely across the field and across the horseshoe, and
is of a color contrasting with the color of the field and also with the color of the horseshoe.
What I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
In a design for a. button having a circular outline, the field a,eontaini ng the horseshoe B, of a color contrasting with the color of the field, and the ribbon-like band 0, extending in a. right line across the field and horseshoe and of a. color contrasting with the colors of the field and horseshoe, substantially as shown and described.
