To all whom it may concern.-

Be it known that I, HENRY FAWCETT, nsubject of the Queen of Great Britain, residing at Kidderrninster, England, have invented and produced a certain new and original Design for Carpets, of which the following is afull, clear, and exact description, reference being land to the accompanying drawing, forming a part of this specification.

My design is applicable more particularly to loop and out pile carpets and to those woven with a border. It is illustrated in the drawing as composed of a center or body proper and a border with corner-pieces.

Term oi'pntcnt 7 years.

I claim- 1 5 1. The design for the center or body of the carpet, substantially as shown and described. 2. The design for the border of a carpet, substantially as shown and described.

3. The design for a. bordered carpet, con 0 sisting of the centerand border, substantially as shown and described.
