DESIGN FOR A FONT OF TYPE ORNAMENTS.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 17,910, dated November 29, 1887.
Application Filed October 19, 1887. Serial No. 252,858. Term of paient? years.
.To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, GEORGE F. GIEsEeKE, of Leipsie, in the Kingdom of Saxony, Empire of United Germany, have invented a. Design for a Font of Combination Type Ornaments forthe Formation of Borders, of which the following is n specification.
The nature of my design is clearly shown in the accompanying typographie impression, to which reference is mede; and it consists of a series of types numbered from 1 to 14, inelusi ve, representing light scroll-like figures combined with o series of tendril, floral, and fruit like ornaments upon a. heavy groundwork, s shown. In No. 13 is also shown a winged Cupid, and in No. 12 the head of e Cupid.
One of the typographie impressions shows the various members of the font. The other shows nu entirety formed by combining them.
