DESIGN FOR A PANEL.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 17,183, dated March 15, 1887. Application filed December 30, I EEG. Serial No. 2 213,053. Term of patent? years,
To aZZ whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, FREDERICK MANKEY, of \Villiamsport, Lycomiug county, Pennsylvania, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Panels, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying photographs, forming part hereof.
A is a rectangular elevation having inclined upper edges. Parallel to the sides of said elevation A are rounded beads 13, G, D, and E. Parallel to the beads B D are elevations G H, and parallel to the beads C E are eleva' tions I J. Outside of and parallel to the elevations I J are beads K L. Outside and parallel to the elevations G H are beads M N. At each corner of the design is a rectangular (levation, 0, four smaller rectangular elevations, F P Q It, and four short rounded beads, S T U V. Between all the several elevations and beads named appear channels.
Figure 2 shows my design with the elevations A G II and beads 13 D and M N of Fig. 1 elongated. Fig. 3 shows my design in conjunction with additional elevations and chan nels.
Upon the upper surfaces of the elevations and beads T, K, I, V, O, E, J, and L may appear a different grain-marking from that which appears upon the surfaces of the elevations and beads, at right angles to said elevations and heads.
I claim- 1. The design for a panel, substantially as herein shown and described, which consists in the rectangular elevations A G O I H J F 1 Q It and beads BODESTUVKLMN, and intermediate channels.
2. The design for a panel, substantially as herein shown and described, which consists in the rectangular elevations A G O I H J F P Q R and beads B O D ES TUVK L M N, and intermediate channels, a different grai n-n1arking appearing upon the upper surfaces of the elevations and beads T, K, I, V, O, E, J, and L from that which appears upon the surfaces of the remaining elevations and beads.
