Description

UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICEo STEWART HARTSHORN, OF MILLBURN, NEV JERSEY.
DESIGN FOR A BRACKET FOR SHADE-ROLLERS.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 16,037, dated April 14,1885.
Application filed January 14, 1885. Term of patent 14 years.
To aZZ whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, STEWART HARTsHoEN, a citizen of the United States, residing in Millburn, in the county of Essex and State of New Jersey, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Bracket for Shade-Rollers, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part thereof.
This design relates to window-brackets for shade-rollers; and the leading feature consists in a conventional representation of a doorkey, such as is commonly used in the usual form of locks. r
The door-key is represented as standing out from the plate and bearing on the outer end of its stem B the ward C, in which is the angular or round opening @,as is seen in Figures land 2. Extending from the stern to the bottom of the part A is a brace, D,whicl1 may be either straight, as shown in Fig. 1, or curved, as in Fig. 2.
Ornamental scrolls or braces may extend from the edge of the Ward to the brace D, and
from the latter to the part A 5 but these scrolls 25 and braces may be omitted without changing the design of the bracket.
It will be evident that the shape of the par ticular key may vary slightly from that shown inthe drawings, providing a sameness of ap- 3o pearance is maintained, without altering the nature of my design, the essential feature of which is the bracket substantiallyin the form of a key.
35 The design for a bracket for a shade-rol1er STEVART HARTSHORN.
