PATENT OFFICE DESIGN FOR A SPOON OR OTHER ARTICLE OF FLATWARE Edward J. Conroy, Meriden, Conn., assignor to The International Silver Company, Meriden, Conn., a corporation of Connecticut To all whom it may concern.

Be it known that I, Edward J. Conroy, a citizen of the United States, residing at Meriden, county of New Haven, State of Connecticut, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Spoon or Other Article of Flatware, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof.

Fig. 1 is a front elevation of a spoon showing my new design; and

Fig. 2 is an enlarged sectional View taken on the line 2-2 of Fig. 1.

The back of the spoon conforms with the disclosures of Fig. 2, and may be plain or have surface ornamentation embodying the motif disclosed in Fig. 1.

The essential features of my design reside in the configurations of the central bare panel between the longitudinal lines which terminate short of the inner end of the handle and of the chevron-like ornamental elements adjacent the inner end of the handle.

The design is intended for use on sets comprising spoons, forks, knives and similar articles of tableware.

I claim:

The ornamental design for a spoon or other article of flatware, substantially as shown and described.
