DESIGN FOR AN AIRPLANE Frank B. Lane, Silver Spring, Md., assignor to Engineering and Research Corporation, Riverdale, Md., a corporation of Maryland Application May 24, 1946, Serial No. 130,048

Term of patent 14 years To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, Frank B. Lane, a citizen of the United States, residing at 217 Lexington Drive, Silver Spring, Montgomery County, Maryland, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for Airplane, of which the following is the specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof.

Figure 1 is a perspective view showing an airplane embodying my new design;

Figure 2 is a plan view thereof;

Figure 3 is a front elevational view thereof;

Figure 4 is a rear elevational view thereof, and

Figure 5 is a side elevational view thereof.

The characteristic features of my design reside in the portions shown by means of full lines of the drawings.

I claim:

The ornamental design for an airplane, as shown and described.
