DESIGN FOR TUBlNG FOR CURTAIN-POLES, 80C.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 13,580, dated February 6, 1883. Application filed December 13, 1882. Tenn of patent 7 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known thatI, ROBERT S. GOULD, of East Orange, in the county of Essex and State of New Jersey, have invented a. new and original Design for Tubing for Curtain-Poles, Railings, &c., of which the following is a full, clear, and exact description, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, making part of this specification.
This invention relates to an improved tubing for cornice-poles, railings, and other purposes; and it consists of a tubing having four square corners and narrow longitudinal panels, and intermediate widergind convex panels that project beyond the plane of the corner panels.
The nature of my design is fully illustrated in the accompanying drawings. to which reference is made, and in which Figure 1 representsa side view, and Fig. 2a perspective view, of the same.
Similar letters of reference indicate corresponding parts.
My improved tubing A for curtain-poles,
railings, and the like is drawn ofbrass or other suitable material, with four square corners,a a, and narrow longitudinal panels b b at the corners. Intermediately between the corner panels b b are arranged wider convex panels d d, which form, with the corner panels, a very ornamental tubing for use-in the arts.
Having thus described my invention, [claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent- The design for tubing for cornicepoles, railings, and other purposes, consisting of square corners, narrow longitudinal-panels at both sides of the corners, and intermediate wider convex panels, substantially as shown and described.
