DESIGN FOR CARRlAGE-SHACKLES.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 11,641, dated February 3, 1880. Application filed July 19, 1879. Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, \VILLIAM S. WARD, of Plantsville, in the county of Hartford and State of Connecticut, have invented a new Design for Carriage-Shackles 5 and I do hereby declare the following, when taken in connection with the accompanying drawing and the letters of reference marked thereon, to be a full, clear, and exact description of the same, and which said drawing constitutes part of this specification, and represents a perspec tive view.
This invention relates to a design for carriage-shackle, the object being the ornamentation of the coupling to which the thill-iron is attached; and the invention consists in the shape of the ears of the coupling, as shown in the accompanying illustration.
