DESIGN FOR KNITTED FABRIC AND FRINGE.
Specification forming part of Design No. l] ,274, dated July 1, 1879; application filed May 31, 1879. [Term of patent 3 1- years] To all whom it may concern:
I sign comprising the cords (1, threads I), plumes Be it known that I, GABRIEL UPTON, of d, loose pendent cords f,and projectingplumes Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, have produced or invented a new and original Design for a Knitted Fabric and Fringe, of which the following is a specification.
My design for a knitted fabric and fringe is fully shown in the accompanying photographic illustration.
The body of the fabric consists of vertical cords a, lateral threads b, and short projectin g plumes d, carried by said cords a and threads 11. The fringe consists of loose pendent cords f, carrying short projecting plumes z.
Irrespective of the colors employed, I claim- 1. The design for a knitted fabric, said doi, all substantially as described, and as shown in andby the accom panyin g photographic illustration.
2. The design for a knitted fringe, said design comprising the loose pendent cords f, with projecting plumes i, all substantially as described, and as shown in and by the accompanying photographic illustration.
