DESIGN FOR A FONT OF LOWER-CASE TYPES.

Specification forming part of Design No. 1 1,150, dated April 15, 1879; application filed March 11, 1879. [Term of patent 14 years] To all whom it mag concern:

Be it known that,I, Jums M. GONNER, of Greenville, Hudson county, New Jersey, have invented and produced a. new and original Design for'a. Font. of Lowercase Printing- Types, of which the following is a specification.

The natnre of my design is clearly shown in the accompanying typographic impression, to which reference is made.

It consists of an inclined Roman tyne free from turns in the terminations, notably of the letters (1, h, i, l, m, n, and u, the terminations in these letters upon the right being brought down strnigh t.

My present design differs from that shown in Design Patent No. 6,574, granted me April 8, 1873, in that in the present design the bottom and top lines are sharp, while in the pat ent of April 8, 1873, they are heavy.

Having now described my design, what, I claim as new is- The design for a. font of lower-ease printingtypes, as shown and described.
