Specication forming part of Design No. 10,573, dated March 26, 1878; application filed March 11, 15.78.

To all whom 'it may concern:

Be it known that I, JAMES L. FoLsoM, of Brooklyn,Kin gs county, and State of N ew York, have invented or produced a new and original Design for a Pattern to be Inwrought into Ingrain and other Carpeting, in colors similar to those painted on the drawings or photographs accompanying this speciiication, or in other colors substituted in the place of those painted on the drawings or photographs herewith; and I do hereby declare that the draw ings accompanying this specification do give and convey to any one skilled in the art of carpet-Weavin g a defined andthorough description of the nature of my invention, and are sufficient to enable any one skilled in the art of carpet-Weaving to use my invention.

What 1 claim as my invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-

The design hereunto annexed, when. applied to carpeting, in the form similar to the draW ings or photographs accompanying this speci cation.
