DESIGN FOR CARPETS.

Specification forming part of Design No. 10,563, dated March 26, 1878; application filed March 11, 1878. [Term of patent 31} years.]

To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, J AMES L. FOLSOM, of Brooklyn, Kin gs county, and State of New York, have invented or produced a new and original Design for a Pattern to be Inwrought in to In grain and other Carpeting, in colors similar to those painted on the drawings or photographs accompanying this specification, or in other colors substituted in the place of those painted on the drawings or photographs herewith; and I do hereby declare that the drawings accompanying this specification do give and convey to any one skilled in the art of carpetweaving a defined and thorough de scription of the nature of my invention, and are sufiicient to enable any one skilled in the art of carpet-weaving to use my invention.

What I claim as my invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is

The design hereunto annexed, when applied to carpeting, in the form similar to the drawings or photographs accompanying this specification.
