FOLDING PAPER VESSEL.
Specification of Letters Patent.
Patented May 16, 1911.
Application filed August 8, 1910. Serial No. 576,117.
' To all whom it may concern:
-- drinking purposes which'may be readily folded into position and which may be discarded after being used.
The invention consists in the constructions and combinations of parts hereinafter described and set forth in the claims.
In the accompanying drawings, Figure 1 is a plan view of the blank from which my,
improved cup is formed. Fig. 2 is a plan view of the blank in folded position, to erspective view of the samein folded position. Fig. 4 is A a view. of the same in partly folded position.
Like parts are represented by similar characters ofreference in the several views. In the said drawings, arepresents a circular piece of suitable paper, one half of which is creased 0r scored on the dotted lines to form triangular shaped portions 1,

The referable manner of folding the cup is to bring the portions 3 and 4: together and then fold the portions 2 and 5 back upon 3- and 4: and then fold the portions 1 and 6 against the portions 2 and 5. After these portions have been folded together, the portion a will be caused to assume the conical shape as illustrated in Fig. 3 and will form the cup proper.
By grasping the folded portions firmly between the fingers any leakage of the liquid is prevented, the folded portions at the same time forming a handle for the operator.
Having thus described my invention, I claim 1. In a folding paper vessel, a conical shaped portion forming a receptacle, and folds connected with the receptacle portion adapted to be folded to form a handle which stands at right-angles to the walls of the receptacle portion, substantially as speci- 2.
