To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, Haiuun'r M. VALsH, a citizen ot the VUnited States, and residing a 1 Sandy Hook, in the county of Fairfield, State of Connecticut, have invented new and useful Fortune-Telling Die for Games, ot' which the :following is a speciiication.
rifhis invention relates to dice i'or the playing of various games, but more particularly designed for the game of tit for tat, for which i hold copyright.
ilhe object of the invention is a die of eubical or rectangular shape, the surface of which is channeled to form grooves or recesses, bearing within the grooves or recesses lettering, numerals, or arbitrary symbols.
To this end my invention consists in matters described and hereinafter claimed.

Referring to the drawings, the die is formed of a, preferably, cubical body channeled to leave projections A and depressions or recesses B. The die may be formed of Celluloid, wood, bone or ivory, the material used, and the iinish given the die, of course,
affecting the cost to the purchaser. In the form of die shown in Figs. 1 and 2 the end edges are square, but in the form of die shown in Figs. 3, il and 5 the ends of the die may be beveled as shown at C, to t'acilitate rolling.

A die for games provided with elongated recesses, and cards substantially as described, removably secured within said recesses and bearing the designations of the die.
