To all whom it nzwy concern:
Be it known that I, FELIX RINGL, a citizen of the United States, residing at Arnold, in the county of Westmoreland, State of Pennsylvania, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Puzzles; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same.
This invention relates to puzzles, and more particularly to that class known as maze puzzles.
The invention resides in the provision of a metallic sheet or board having a series of intercommunioating grooves stamped therein to represent underground passages in a coalmine and a ball of any suitable material to be propelled in the grooves from one point to another.
The primary object of the invention is to provide a puzzle of this nature which may be manufactured and sold at an extremely low cost. 7
In the accompanying drawings, Figure 1 is a plan view of the invention, and Fig. 2 is a sectional view on the line 2 2 of Fig. 1.
Referring more specifically to the drawings, the numeral 5 denotes a metallic board, here ignated. One of the series of grooves leads fiom each of these points and communicates with other intercommunicating grooves. There is, however, but one route to the out let or finish, and the object of the puzzle is therefore to propel the ball 8 over the board until this route is found.
What is claimed is- A device of the class described comprising a pair of hinged members having intercommunicating grooves formed therein.
In testimony whereof I afiiX my signature in presence of two witnesses.
