Be it known that I, H. G. `N OBL'E, of Selma, in the 4(county of Dallas, and Starte lof Alabama, yhave in-i' vented a, new and improved Roofing; 'nud I `do hereby i declare that the following is a. full, clear, and exact description thereof', which will enable others skilled in the nrt to make and use the seme, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming perl; of this specification. ,l g

rThis invention relates to improvements-in roofing, and consists i'n coveringroofs with sheet-metnl, laid on the rafters, and nailed thereon at' the edges, so .as to be coilsidernblyconcaved between ther'n, the, joints `on the rafterslbeing covered by inverted cops or troughs.

The` conczwe form ofthe sheets isdesigned to prevent the sheet-mettli'om 'cracking-to whicht is subject, by expansion and contraction, when laid on lint'. Figure 1 represents o perspective View ofa. building `provided 'with my improved varrangement of sheetmetnl covering, and
