The inventlon relates to improvements in I document files, as described in the present specification and illustrated "in the accompanying drawings, that form part of the Same.

The invention consists essentially in the novel arrangement and construction of the members and means for locking the same. a I

The objects of the-invention are to devise a file which will enable the user to upper portion of the cover.

keep the cover portion tightly down on the letters filed, at all times, to facilitate the renewal of the .posts of the file, and generally toprovide a slmple, cheap and convenient oflice device. i
