This invention relates to folding boxes or cartons. f
It has for its object an improved box made from a single piece of flexible materititil adapted to completely cover in and inclosc the contents. and also adaptedl when a single fold is raised from its completely folded position to disclose. the contents ot the box while retaining or holding tliem in place.

In the folded carton shown in Fig. 2 the space or chamber within the. box is accessible through the opening l2, but the main purpose of the opening 1Q is to furnish iiispection to the contents of the box which are retained therein, and protected from dirt -and the contact. of the fingers of the user.
Articles exhibited for sale in them may be readily exhibited but may not be readily handled, and tlie entire package is so readily applied and so cheap in production that'I the articles exhibited for sale in the package are ldelivered with the carton and without deengage in said slits and an outwardly -exf .tended edge. between said ears' to overlie the periphery of said opening between said ears.
